We went to polka-dot pottery for our family activity a few weeks ago. Ava absolutely loved it and asks to paint all the time now. She did a great job making a Christmas tree ornament. We will have to do this again for a family night. It was tons of fun and fairly reasonable in price. 
Time is just flying by these days. I cannot believe how independent Ava is becoming. She is definitely a little girl now. It is very bitter sweet. I love watching her develop and grow into such a sweet and beautiful little girl, but I wish it would slow down just a tad bit. 
Ava loves crafts, so I try to do some sort of craft with her a few days a week. The last craft we did was making paper butterfly's. She loves to cut paper with scissors (I helped with the butterfly), and had tons of fun gluing on fuzzy balls.
Ava loves putting on Joel's shinguards - pretending that she is a soccer player. I have to admit that she looks super cute and actually has a pretty nice kick/shot for her age. Maybe we will have a soccer star in the family some day.
