Congratulations to Rhonda and Mark!

Rhonda and Mark got married this last weekend in Chewelah. The wedding was absolutely beautiful. Rhonda looked amazing. All the little girls could not get enough of the beautiful princess in her big white gown. I have never seen a more gorgeous dress. It was an honor to be apart of their special day. Rhonda and I have known each other since middle school, and have always enjoyed spending time together. She is one of the most caring people I know, and Mark is just as great. They will have a wonderful life together. Her are some pictures of this special day.

Visiting Family

My (Jen's) father came to visit this last weekend (June 2008). It was so good to spend time with him and with family. The picture listed above is a four generation picture with my Grandmother, Father, Eric, and Baby Mav. We do not get to see my dad very often due to the distance we all live from each other. He came to Washington this time to help my grandmother around her house. One of his projects was to paint her garage. We all decided to help him paint it, so it would get done quickly, and we all had a great time doing it. It allowed us to have some great quality talking time with our father. It was a great weekend.

Our New Home

Joel and I feel so blessed to live in such a beautiful home. We left some of it unfinished to save money and allow Joel to have some projects to keep him out of trouble. When we are finished it will have three bedrooms and two bathrooms. We love visitors, so you are all welcome anytime.

Becoming an Aunt

My brother Eric and his wife Jenny just had their first baby on April 30, 2008. It is the first child on my side of the family. They had a baby boy named Maveric. What a cutie.

Becoming Bloggers

We finally decided to become bloggers and start our own page...Mostly so that our friends and family that live away from us are able to keep in-touch online.

Joel and I have been extremely busy over the last few months with moving into our first home (pictures of the house to come in future blogs), work, church, playing indoor soccer, and spending time with family and friends. Joel just put in a sprinkler system and planted grass (legal grass - Joel wants you to know), which we are hoping will grow, especially with the weather being so miserable - Snow on June 10th - YUK!! We are hoping to work on the yard this weekend - weather permitting.
