Maveric Turns Two!!

My brother Eric's son Maveric turns two at the end of this month, so we headed to Tri-cities this last weekend to celebrate his birthday with family. He is such a happy, intelligent kid.

This pictures is of Ava and her two cousins - Maveric and Simon

It was great to spend time with family and get away from our busy lives and take a quick road trip together as a family.
Here are just a few random pictures of Joel and I with Ava.

She is such a blessing in our lives.

What you can get for $1.84...

I am not a huge couponer, but with merchandise that I will use...I will totally take the time to do it. This is what I got today while I was out running errands with Ava. Two scrubbing bubble sprays, and 10 packs or 4 mini cream cheeses - All for $1.84. And to top it off - I got 3 catalina coupons totaling $8 off my next purchase. So it is kind-of like I made $6 on this order. Can't beat that.

Got to love the COUPONS!!

What do we do when the SUN decides to come out?

This last weekend was absolutely gorgeous. It was sunny, warm, and Ava loved being outside (well...as long as the sun was not in her eyes). Therefore, Joel and I decided to use our new jogging stroller and go for a few walks over the weekend. We live in a little community outside of town that has tons of paved and non-paved walking trails that we love to go walking on. Here are some pictures of our fun adventures.

Hopefully we will have another sunny weekend in the near future so that we can hit the trails again.

Happy Easter

Today was Ava's first Easter. She really had no clue that today was different than any other day, but man did she get spoiled. Everywhere she went she got treats and gifts.
It was a conference weekend at church, therefore we did not have a normal church service, but we still had her wear her special Easter dress over to families houses.
Easter is such a special time of year. We are so thankful for our Savior and for the Atonement. We are thankful to know that He died for us and loves us each individually.
We are excited to teach Ava about Jesus Christ as she gets older, and hope that she grows up loving her Savior and Heavenly Father.

We know that we post a lot about Ava lately...but she is the most exciting thing in our lives. I print my blog every year, so it acts as a picture journal for us as well, therefore some of these posts are more for us to read in years to come. But none-the-less, our family that is not here locally enjoy updated pictures of Ava.

We just cannot get enough of her.
We love you Ava!!
